All About Bedouin Lodge Dahab

History of Our Hotel

We would like to give you a short introduction about who we are and what we offer, so you will have a better understanding of us, our hotel and our services. We are a Bedouin family from the Sinai, who settled here in Dahab, however long before we moved to Dahab as three young brothers we grew up in the heart of the desert of South Sinai close to the Protectorate of St. Catherine. During our childhood we learnt about the region from our parents and extended familly, often joining them as they would guide visitors through the Sinai desert and mountains, their knowledge of the region was passed on to us, so that we had the understanding and awerness of how to exist in the enviroment and most importantly, how not to get lost! Later for our schooling we moved and settled in Dahab. Here, our family built up a small camp, which over the years grew into what is now The Bedouin Lodge Hotel.
